Film School

Cinemagic's unique film is the only one of its kind in the region. Our courses are designed for students ranging from the experienced, to those with little or no filmmaking experience whatsoever. Utilizing the latest filmmaking technology available in house, our courses are taught through a series of practical hands-on projects and classes, building on Cinemagic's goal to educate its students in cinema from around the world and to create film artists and storytellers of the highest quality. The aim is to develop Kuwait's filmmaking and artistic voice to be showcased on the world stage.

Through our programmes, students will be given the opportunity to:

- Become completely Apple Certified.

- Direct short films on the latest digital cameras, edited on the latest Apple editing software.

- Learn and understand the meaning of film as a method of storytelling. How to be visual storytellers.

- Become proficient in writing short stories and screenplays to develop an individuals creative voice and style.

- Learn how to use post-production programs such as Final Cut Pro, Motion, After Effects and more.

- Understand sound as a narrative device.

- Develop skills as cinematographers and production designers.

- Receive a Diploma and DVD of all completed projects.

-In our film school, students are encouraged to learn through doing. At Cinemagic Kuwait, we understand that to be a great filmmaker, like being a great painter, sculptor or musician, you must practice and produce work. We will help students diffuse their fears of making mistakes as each mistake is a learning curve.
